This is the
method how I put up a facebook fan page within 3 hours with 200 likes in it.
This guide will focus on how to make a fan page on facebook from scatch. The
tools, website I use to get fans, softwares I use to edit pictures and the most
important facts you should consider when you make a fan page. If you already
know how to put up a fan page surf though this guide and extract the important
points you may find useful
Creating a
fan page basic (skip this paragraph if you already know how to make a fan page)
To create a fan page go through this link http://www.facebook.com/pages/create.php or login to your facebook account and go to a page you already like. Just go to what ever fan page. Then in the upper right corner you’ll see a link create A page. Click the link and you’ll be direct to a page with some categorize. Select the category you page suit into. Enter the details ask for. Then upload a profile picture if you already have one ready or skip that step. After that write a short description about your fan page ( This will be displayed on your about section on your fanpage). You may also add a website link here. If you’re done press save info or skip that step so you can edit the information later. Ok that’s it you have just created a fan page on facebook
My next step
is to design a cover photo and a profile picture
For this you may use advanced softwares like Photoshop. But this is what I use to edit my cover photos and profile picture. You can download it at http://www.photoscape.org. With this tool you’ll able to resize, convert, edit and modify the image you like. But this wouldn’t help you to do advance changes to your photo. All you can do with this is to tweak your image to make it unique. If you want to do more advanced changes I suggest you to use photoshop or gimp. Gimp is a free tool you can download it at http://www.gimp.org. Well I wouldn’t tell here how to make a profile picture and a cover photo. Hope using these tools you’ll able to create them. The cover photo should be 851ˣ314 pixel in size. When you are ready upload them to your fan page. If you want to add more details to your fan page. Go to edit page then update info. There you’ll able to add a description, contact info etc etc
Ok I hope now you have a Fan page
ready with a cover photo and a profile picture. Lets move on to the next step
Creating a unique url for your fan page
What I notice when I look through fan pages most of them don’t have a unique url. Even some pages have thousands of facebook fans don’t have one. I hope everyone would like to have a "www.facebook.com/your-desire-name-here" type url rather than something like "www.facebook.com/pages/blablabla/123167512452" type url. So here is how it’s done. To change your url first you need to have at least 25 fans on your page. That means 25 should like your fan page. So here is the hard part. Ask some friends and family members to like your new fan page. Or create some fake facebook profiles and like your own fan page. That is easy I think J. Ok when you have 25 likes on your page go to Edit Page under it Update info. There you’ll see a section called username. If you go there before having 25 likes on your page. You’ll see something like “Your page needs at least 25 fans to have a username”. So after having 25 fans you’ll be able to change the username. That means to change your url.
Now you have a good looking fan page
out there. But would it be with only 25 fans. People wouldn’t look in to it.
Unless at least you have 500 fans on it. So you need some quick fans. Just to
get peoples attention. So next step is about how you get some quick likes on
your page.
Get 150 facebook likes on your page within an hour.
For this I use facebook like exchange sites. And the best site I’ve came across is addmefast.com. I tried many sites but there was no alternative for addmefast.com. So please don’t screw with addmefast account read my article Important facts you should know before youjoin addmefast.com. The simple theory of these sites is you like other facebook fan pages and earn point. After you earn points you can spend them to get likes to your page. With an hour of work you can get around 150 fans this way. But I suggest not to get quick fans. Because there is a probability of getting you’re fan page kick out of facebook. For example having 500 fans within minutes would do the job J. Coz in the eyes of facebook it may look suspicious to a newly built fan page to get 500 fans within minutes. If you have enough points you can do this with addmefast. So read my full article about addmefast before you proceed register in there.
Ok that’s it. This how I put facebook fan pages. Please note that I only use addmefast account to get noticed by people. When you have around 500 likes on your fan page you should focus on putting quality content on your fan page in order to get some real fans. Treat your facebook fan page like a blog.
